British illustrator Alice Tait is an established name in the UK and has been widely commissioned – in the last year alone she has worked for British Vogue, Random House in the US and UK, and created party invites for Chanel.
Alice was born and brought up in London, and studied at Bath Spa University. After graduating with a first class honours degree in 2002 she moved back to London, and has been drawing for a living ever since.
Alice's 'live' drawings led her to be asked as a guest illustrator for an event held by Kevin Spacey at the Old Vic Theatre in London, where she created artwork on the spot, drawing from a host of celebrities whilst they prepared for a charity gala. Her drawings were then featured in The Times and The Guardian.
Alice has also created a best selling ‘Alice Tait’ branded product range, which has been snapped up all across London, selling in Harrods, St.Paul’s Cathedral and the Royal Palaces amongst others.
Alice now has her own studios in Bath town centre, kept company by her ever faithful miniature dachshund Roger, who frequently makes it into her drawings.
