Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, Reilly has carved a unique position in the world of illustration and graphic art.
His recognisable style aims to distort and reflect pop culture and to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in graphic art. His work is a mash-up of hand drawn and painstakingly rendered vector elements, crazed exploding colours, maze-like repetitions, graffiti and found objects with iconic web inspired motifs, his own cartoon characters and London street culture.
In addition to his art, REILLY’s work also encompasses many other areas - fashion, editorial, advertising, branding, publishing, licensing and music.
In 2009 along with 3 other creatives Reilly formed the British collective Concrete Studio and to date they have launched 3 successful menswear lines. Natural Selection Denim, now in it’s 9th season, is a premium denim range consisting of selvedge Japanese denim in a selection of hand finished washes, as well as beautifully crafted outerwear, graphic T’s and shirting.
In 2010, Concrete also launched his highly anticipated range of artisanal men’s t-shirts & sweats, called, REILLY. This super premium range is a collection of intricate graphic prints based on Reilly's artwork which have been applied using various state of the art print techniques. They were immediately picked up by Dover Street Market, Harvey Nichols and Harrods.
2012 saw REILLY and the team from Concrete launch another menswear label - Smile Now Cry Later. REILLY currently holds the position of Artistic and Creative director for the brand, now in it's second season and sold worldwide.
He was born in Scotland and currently reside in London, England
