BIO

Cookie Moon (Sara Laimon) is a Tel Aviv based illustrator. She takes cues from fashion, literature, and Instagram, and is inspired by real-life experiences as well as cinematic scenes, and her study of Jewish philosophy. This meeting of the inner world and the external physical world is a recurring subject in Cookie’s illustrations, working intuitively and quickly, she creates painterly images drenched in atmosphere.

Cookie Moon studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2017. Since then her works have been shown in numerous group exhibitions and festivals such as Zaz 10 Times Square, New York; The Morgan Library and Museum, New York; Tel Aviv Museum of Art and others.
